Austin Evenson is a marketing manager and artist manager at The Darkroom, a forward-thinking, full-service record label and management company. The Darkroom operates as a marketing and business development consultant for Interscope Records. Additionally, Austin serves as A&R Manager at dance/electronic media site, Dancing Astronaut.
Originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Austin graduated in 2016 from Georgetown University with a dual degree in Marketing and OPIM (Operations & Information Management) along with a certificate in Entrepreneurship. He joined The Darkroom in fall of 2016 after interning for over a year while in school.
At The Darkroom, Austin serves as day-to-day manager for dance/electronic live act, Gryffin, and manager for electronic producer/songwriter, Jerry Folk. He also works in tandem with Interscope’s digital marketing and international teams on developing the careers of artists like Billie Eilish, Jacob Banks, and Gryffin.
Outside of music, his interests include snow skiing, bubbling (sometimes known as hot tubbing), Bulletproof coffee, and excessively listening to podcasts.
